The aim of this call for proposals is to drive digital transformation and promote new business opportunities for cultural stakeholders in Málaga by identifying and addressing technological challenges related to the issues posed by digitalisation in the cultural sector. Projects must address the challenges set out at the start of the Ideathon, or use them as inspiration to tackle other challenges. Therefore, the specific challenges set by the organisers will not be revealed until the Ideathon begins.
Who can participate?
The Ideathon is open to people of legal age who are:
- Cultural agents and professionals working in all areas of the cultural sector.
- Artists and creatives of any discipline.
- Students of 42 Telefónica Foundation Málaga.
- University or Business School students in the final stages of their Master’s degree studies; or graduates.
- Students in the last year of Professional Training.

Awards:
Three prizes will be awarded (first, second and third place).
All members of the winning teams will receive free registration, as trade visitors, to the forums organised by FYCMA between September 2026 and June 2027.
Mechanics:
Participants will work in groups, which will be formed by the Organisation at the start of the Ideathon.
Once the teams have been formed, they will have time to get organised, select a challenge and develop a prototype for a technological solution applicable to the cultural sector.
